This war is so tragic, it is challenging to put into words. A few people's arrogance and desire for power is leading to ordinary people, Jewish and Palestinian alike, dying and needlessly living in constant fear. It is sickening to think about, and my heart goes out to all the people experiencing it in real time.

Peace must be prioritized over everything. Peace starts with the laying down of weapons, and the release of all civilian hostages. When these steps are taken, we can begin to look towards the future.

I support Israeli and Palestinian people. Currently, weapons we as Americans are funding with our tax dollars and providing to Israel are not being used solely for defensive purposes. The United States is a long-standing partner of Israel, and we cannot enable their leadership to hurt civilians. I believe it is imperative that needless death ends immediately. So, at this present time, our representatives should end arms sales to Israel until we can be perfectly confident our weapons of defense are solely being used for defense only.

If elected, I'm offering to travel with food and medical supplies transports to ensure their safe arrival and distribution to those who desperately need them.
