Democracy is the mechanism that turns our shared values into lasting progress. For our conscious nation, it’s what ensures the institutions we govern uphold human rights, expand opportunity, and our equitable prosperity is paired with responsibility. A strong democratic system keeps power transparent, safeguards the social fabric and public investments that strengthen our society, and creates the stability needed for long‑term economic and environmental stewardship. When participation is powered by people and government remains accountable to all of its citizens, we build a country where success isn’t momentary — it's enshrined in our work for the common good.

Bring Back the Child Tax Credit & End Burke Airport
Burke's space is so valuable to the public that it needs to be opened up for all to enjoy our home and lakefront.

All the craziness of the administration cannot distract from the fact that families in this District and this nation need the Child Tax Credit back! Let's bring it back to the forefront!
Defund ICE
ICE's top priorities should be preventing terrorism and combating transnational crime. Their current directives are not accomplishing these goals.
Terrorism and crime harms our communities. People who are here for better lives & do well by their neighbors enrich and inspire Americans to be better.
Protect Women & Mothers
Despite housing three of the largest, most impressive hospital systems in the nation, Cleveland is ranked one of the worst places for black women to live & has one of the highest mortality rates among expectant black mothers and their children. This cannot stand in a district where our majority is black women!
Improve Local Transport
After monthly payments, gas, parking, checkups and the occasional mishap, cars cost us on average $11,000 every year.

Company's like FirstEnergy -- who orchestrated one of the largest state corruption scandals in American history -- are now pitching us slower emergency response & more outages.

Let's bury our power lines to protect our energy from weather, and build renewable energy on our greatest asset, Lake Erie!
Consequences for Epstein Associates
Victims must be protected, and all perpetrators, no matter who they are, must be brought into the light.

If the judicial system cannot bring action, then it is on the legislative branch to ensure there are consequences for these heinous crimes.

Government's job is to focus on the most important facets of life. Every night, in one form or another, we pray for the Health and Safety of ourselves and our loved ones.

In the end, we all want the same thing.
My priority is to ensure life's necessities are as efficient and accessible as possible. When the laws incentivize people and businesses to do right by ourselves & others, we create a society in which we all thrive, together.
PLANET
This is our home. Our one home. We have to take care of it for us, for our children, and our children's children.
PEOPLE
At our core, we are united as humans. When we treat each other with the respect we expect, we create a better society.
PROFIT
Workers deserve to earn enough to live in dignity. Businesses deserve quick and clean governmental processes. Those who work and build in District 11 should be given the tools to profit as much as they can, as long as they are taking care of their employees and our community in the process.
As your representative, I will not fly private and I will not trade stocks.

We don't hear about these issues often enough for how large they are.
Tackling these criminal industries will be my priority for our safety and savings.
2024's Top Issues
How quickly priorities can change. We need a Leader in Congress who will not only adapt to take on present challenges, but also not lose sight of fights for freedom and justice that occur outside the limelight of our news cycles.
War in Gaza
Peace. That is the only lasting way forward. Both sides must lay down their weapons, civilian hostages must be freed, and only then can trust begin to be built.
Abortion
I voted for Issue 1, and stand behind the people of Ohio's choice. We need better sex education and stronger protections for women so we can see the need for abortions end in our lifetime.
The Border
Entering the U.S. 'the right way' can take over 20 years in our current system. We must modernize our technology to screen individuals, and the border itself, to end trafficking.
Ukraine
We have stood by the Ukrainian people, and we should continue to. There are, however, ways other than military and economic aid we can use to end this war.
Guns
I will not end the 2nd Amendment. I will fight for better laws so that all Americans feel and are safe in this Land of the Free.
